James Harrison is a free agent after being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and less than a week later, he’s in New England, not to face the Patriots, but possibly to become a Patriot.
The 39-year-old linebacker, who was cut by Pittsburgh to free a roster spot for offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert, met with the Pats Tuesday at Gillette Stadium.

Harrison is the Steelers all-time sack leader and would add to the ever prevalent storylines to a likely Patriots-Steelers AFC Championship game matchup.
