REPORT: Le’Veon Bell “Blew Off” Steelers Final Walk-Through Practice Before Playoff Game vs Jaguars

Le’Veon Bell might have played his final game with the Pittsburgh Steelers as things like this will surely make the Steelers be reluctant to give the running back the lucrative contract he so desperately desires.

According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Le’Veon Bell skipped all but the final five minutes of the final walk-through practice prior to the team’s playoff game against the Jaguars:

Not only did Bell arrive much later than that for the playoff game against Jacksonville (as well as one coach), he missed practically the entire Saturday walk-through the day before, showing up about five minutes before practice ended.

In addition to skipping out on the team’s final walk-through, Bell also showed up later than the deadline set by coach Mike Tomlin for game days.

Prior to the week’s playoff game, Bell threatened to sit out of the season or retire of the Steelers had franchise tagged him again, adding on to the distractions that ultimately helped cause the Steelers demise in the playoffs.

Nonetheless, Bell told reporters after the game that he “definitely” wanted to be back in 2018 but one has to wonder, is the feeling mutual?
