Landon Collins Says The Key To Beating Cowboys Is To Put The Ball In Dak Prescott’s Hands

Sunday Night Football will feature an NFC East clash between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas. The game is still a few days away, but the smack-talk has already begun.

On Wednesday, Giants safety Landon Collins proclaimed the New York Giants as America’s team, not the Dallas Cowboys.

“I feel like the Giants are America’s team,” Collins, a defensive co-captain, said Wednesday with a smile in the locker room. “We’re red, white and blue. I feel like that’s the right way to do it.”

Collins went on to talk about keys to beating the Cowboys, saying if they are able to stop Ezekiel Elliott and force Dak to throw the ball, he likes Big Blue’s chances:

“We really just have to focus on stopping Zeke. We need to make sure we’re playing our gap assignments and make sure we [take] the air out of their running game,” Collins said. “Put the ball into Dak’s hands and I think we have a better shot at winning.”

Sunday should be fun.
