From Super Bowls to regular season games, the Bears just don’t seem to fair to well playing in Miami, and that has to do with the weather.
Coming from a chilly 40 degrees in Chicago, the Bears flew south to play against the Dolphins Sunday, having to play an overtime game in 90 degree October weather.
The conditions took a toll on all the players, but one Bears player in particular.
Offensive tackle Bobby Massie told Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times on Tuesday that he lost 12 pounds during the game, adding in “I’m a heavy sweater.”
Massie is listed at 317 pounds, meaning he finished the 31-28 loss at 305.
