Up by 14 with less than three minutes to go and the ball at their own 3-yard line, the Seahawks were looking to ice the game from the Lions by drawing up a punt and taking a safety to avoid a block and giving up seven points.
Michael Dickson had other ideas.
Realizing the blocking was so good, the rookie ran to the right, and took the ball out, picking up the first down before being crushed.
