Former Rugby Player Scores 65-Yard TD On His First Touch In His First Ever Football Game

What a way to start your football career…

Former rugby star turned NFL player Christian Wade scored a 65-yard touchdown on the very first touch of his very first football game Thursday night in the Bills preseason opener against the Colts.

Wade left Wasps RFC in October of 2018 via the NFL’s International Pathways Program where teams get a free spot for Wade on their offseason roster as well as the practice squad during the season, but not the team’s 53-man roster.
