The Dallas Cowboys are getting set to play their second preseason game of the year against the Los Angeles Rams in Hawaii and they will once again, be without star running back Ezekiel Elliott.
Elliott has been holding out in hopes of a new contract and has spent the majority of his holdout in Cabo.
On Saturday, there’s been a first sign of hope that the holdout could end soon as Elliott was spotted on a flight from Cabo to Dallas:
According to WFAA’s Mike Leslise, that while Zeke isn’t traveling back to Dallas because is a deal is done but there is growing optimism that it will get done soon:
There are still roughly three weeks until the start of the regular season so the Cowboys still have time to get this deal done before the team’s Week 1 game vs Giants.
