The curse of Vikings kickers continues.
Minnesota traded a fifth-round draft pick to the Ravens for kicker Kaare Vedvik this offseason after he went 12-13 on preseason field goals in Baltimore, only missing a 53-yarder.
Four games in and Vedvik has yet to be able to put it through the uprights for his new team, missing a 37-yarder Thursday night, now 0-3 through the preseason.

Dan Bailey, who has been splitting kicks with Vedvik made the two field goals he was in for Thursday, providing the Vikings with a clear choice on who their starter will be come Week 1.
The Vikings will now either keep three kickers on the roster, or cut a guy they just spent a 5th round pick for.
While a 5th rounder may not seem like much, it’s equivalent to using that pick for a kicker in the draft, which would be one of the highest drafted kickers in recent history.
Vedvik was released on Saturday.
