Drew Brees Needs Surgery On Thumb, Expected To Miss 6 Weeks

Tough news for Saints fans Monday morning as Drew Brees needs surgery that will sideline him for approximately six weeks.

The Saints QB exited the game Sunday after suffering ligament damage on a play where his thumb was jammed by Aaron Donald, tearing a ligament.

Brees could be seen attempting to grip a football after coming of the field to no avail.
