In a crazy alternate universe, it’s the New England Patriots that were screwed over by the referees.
During the third quarter of today’s AFC showdown between the Patriots and Chiefs in Foxboro, Chiefs TE Travis Kelce caught a pass over the middle and while being tackled, he clearly fumbled.
The ball was scooped up by Stephon Gilmore and he had nothing but green grass in front of him.
Unfortunately, the referees blew the play dead.
The whistle took a sure fire touchdown off the board and upon further review, it’s clear Kelce fumbled.
