XFL’s D.C. Defenders Game Tickets Cost More Than Redskins Tickets

This weekend’s debut of Vince McMahon’s reboot fo the XFL provided successful reviews, specifically in the Washington D.C. area. The D.C. Defenders saw demand for tickets skyrocket as fans in that area are willing to give the Defenders a shot to provide some good football they are so desperate for.

According to USA Today, fans buying tickets on the secondary market paid anywhere from $130.00 to $675.00 for entry to Audi Field. By comparison, Redskins tickets were selling for as little as $5.00 in November when the team was going nowhere.

For the team’s second home game against the New York Guardians, tickets are going from anywhere between $24.00 and $175.00, still costing more than Redskins tickets.
