The XFL prides itself on not penalizing players for some actions that would draw consequences in the NFL, and apparently that included throwing a flag right back into a referee’s face.
During Saturday’s game between the Los Angeles Wildcats and the New York Guardians, a Guardians player caught a flag thrown by a referee, and proceeded to send it right back…nailing the official in the face.
