NFL To Broadcast Playoff Game On Nickelodeon With Announcers & Graphics Geared Towards Kids

The NBA has taken the crown from the NFL in terms of reaching younger fans. Whether that has to do with decreased participation in youth football due to safety concerns or the emergence of NBA superstars and their brands, the NFL is trying to make up lost ground.

To do so, the NFL will look to help fill the void of sports in our lives currently with a re-run of a 2019 playoff game with a separately produced telecast on Nickelodeon, specifically tailored for a younger audience.

Nobody quite knows yet how exactly the broadcast will differ from a standard one, whether it’s slime or different graphics, so it will be interesting to see how the league approaches this.
