Dolphins Have Been Desperately Trying To Trade For The No. 1 Overall Pick To Take Joe Burrow

The Cincinnati Bengals are locked in on taking LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft but that isn’t stopping the Miami Dolphins from trying to get him.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Dolphins have made “multiple calls” to the Bengals to try to trade up to No. 1 but have been denied on several occasions:

Earlier this week, there were several reports that the Dolphins were trying to trade up to No. 3 with the Detroit Lions to select their first choice of the offensive tackles. Is that all a smoke screen and could the Dolphins be eyeing a quarterback?

We’ll find out!
