Multiple NBA Teams Boycotting Their Playoff Games Amid Jacob Blake Shooting

The shooting of Jacob Blake by police sent shockwaves across an already divided American earlier this week when the Kenosha man was shot 7 times in the back by an officer.

The NBA, which has positioned itself strongly in supporting the Black Lives Matter anti-police brutality movements, is taking another stance on the issue following the incident, with teams boycotting their playoff games to hopefully spark change.

The Milwaukee Bucks were the first to do so, refusing to play in their 5 PM game Tuesday, with their opponent, the Magic, doing the same. The Rockets, Thunder, Lakers and TrailBlazers also followed suit, with more likely doing the same.
