Patriots RB James White’s Father Dead, Mother In Critical Condition After Car Crash

James White was listed as inactive Sunday for the Patriots heavily anticipated matchup against the Seahawks, and it’s for the saddest of reasons.

Per WMEN and iHeartRadio radio host Andy Slater, White’s father was tragically killed in a car crash Sunday, and his mother is in critical condition.

Sad news to report. Patriots' RB James White's father was in a car crash today and did not survive. His mother was also in the car and is in critical condition.

White's father, Tyrone, was a captain with the Miami-Dade Police Department.

James was told and is inactive tonight.
