Denver Broncos Sign QB Blake Bortles

The Denver Broncos, like many teams around the league after Week 2, have ben hit with the injury bug.

Promising young QB Drew Lock sprained his AC joint in a loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday, and is expected to be sidelined between 3-5 weeks.

The Broncos have now signed former Jags and Rams QB Blake Bortles to fill in over that stretch.

Update: Denver is signing former Jags’ and Rams’ QB Blake Bortles to a one-year deal once he passes his COVID protocols, per source.

With Drew Lock out 3-5 weeks, the Broncos almost signed Bortles last year and now will take the next step this year.
