Le’Veon Bell Is Extremely Happy The New York Jets Released Him

On Tuesday, the New York Jets announced they were releasing running back Le’Veon Bell after weeks of trying to find a trade partner.

Bell leaves New York having made $28 million for 18 games. he leaves behind $15 million in dead cap money this season and $4 million in dead cap in 2021. This season, Bell appeared in just two games for the Jets, rushing 19 times for 74 yards while catching three passes for 39 yards and no touchdowns.

It was a bad marriage from the start and Bell seemed ecstatic that he’s free to find a new home:

Can you blame him?
