Falcons Actually Lost A Game Because Todd Gurley Accidentally Scored A Touchdown

The Atlanta Falcons continue to find new ways to lose games.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Atlanta Falcons were trailing 16-14 to the Detroit Lions and driving to line up and kick a game-winning field goal.

All Todd Gurley had to do was get a first down and go down so the clock could run and the Falcons could line up and kick a field goal.

Instead, Gurley accidentally scored after the Lions let him, giving Matt Stafford and the Lions offense enough time to go down the field and win the game:

The Falcons gave the ball back to the Lions, who were able to go down the field and score a game-winning touchdown:
