REPORT: Broncos Expected To Decline Von Miller’s 2021 Option; Making Him A Free Agent

The Denver Broncos are expected to decline the 2021 option on Von Miller’s contract between no and March 16th, paving the way for the superstar pass rusher to become a free agent, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

2021 is the final year of Miller’s contract and includes $17.5 million in base salary and a $500,000 workout bonus. The team has until March 15th to decline the option. If they do not decline it, $7 million of the salary becomes guaranteed.

However, a report from Benjamin Allbright says that the Broncos are still in the process of determining whether they want to pick up the option or not and a contract extension remains on the table:
