Jaguars Rookie RB Travis Etienne Likely Out For Season After Injury In First Preseason Game

Travis Etienne’s season is over as quick as it started.

The Jaguars rookie running back exited Monday night’s Jaguars-Saints preseason game with a foot injury, later diagnosed as a Lisfranc mid-foot sprain via an MRI.

That injury, per Adam Schefter, will sideline the Clemson alum for at least 12 weeks, likely for the entire year.

The Jaguars drew controversy for selecting Etienne with the No. 25 overall pick especially despite other needs, and perhaps this partially why.
