Aaron Rodgers Blames Interception On “Double N-t Shot” He Took From Saints

Aaron Rodgers had a really rough Week 1 game against the New Orleans Saints and apparently it was worse than we thought.

Not only did Rodgers and the Packers get blown out 38-3 but during the third quarter of the game, the Packers were seemingly on the cusp of scoring before Rodgers threw an interception to Saints’ Paulson Adebo.

On Tuesday, the Packers QB appeared on the Pat McAfee show and explained he took a vicious hit to his balls which caused that interception:

“For those of you who went back and watched it… I don’t like to make a lot of excuses for interceptions… That was entirely due to the double nut shot I took.”

After the play, Rodgers was slow to get up.

Rodgers and the Packers are hoping to bounce back in Week 2 when they host the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.
