There was more than one victim in the Henry Ruggs crash that occurred early Tuesday morning.
The Las Vegas Raiders receiver was driving his Chevrolet C8 Corvette impaired when he slammed into the rear of a Toyota Rav4 on a Vegas street at around 3:00 a.m.
The crash pinned a 23-year-old occupant in her car while it burst into flames, killing her, and according to ESPN, her dog as well.
Ruggs was taken to the hospital and after being treated for minor injuries, was booked and charged with DUI resulting in death.
The Las Vegas Raiders released their former No. 12 overall pick Thursday evening. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
