Kyler Murray Removes All Team-Related Posts And Unfollows Cardinals On Instagram

Kyler Murray sent social media into a frenzy on Tuesday when fans noticed that he suddenly began to remove all Arizona Cardinals related posts from his Instagram account in addition to unfollowing the team’s Twitter and Instagram accounts.

That happened within hours after Murray played in the Pro Bowl at Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium. During the game, recorded three touchdowns, 160 yards on 18-of-27 completions, 104.0 passer rating with one interception:

Murray has stated nothing to the media about any potential unhappiness, but he did take major heat for his playoff performance after Arizona was handed an embarrassing 34-11 loss at eventual NFC champion Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round.

The Cardinals went from a league-best 7-0 start before its mediocre season second-half finish at 11-7.

After completing his third year, the former No. 1 overall pick Murray is eligible for a contract extension this off-season from his four-year rookie deal. This may be his way of putting the pressure on the front office to sign him to a huge deal as they think he may walk when he becomes a free agent.
