Los Angeles Rams and Cooper Kupp have made “significant progress” on a new contract extension that will likely pay him among the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
Kupp will likely get a three-year deal that will pay him well past $20 million per season based on the new money average:
The 28-year-old Kupp is coming off a historic season in which he won the receiving triple crown, leading the league in receptions – 145 – receiving yards – 1,947 – and touchdowns – 16.
Kupp went on to win Super Bowl MVP, becoming the 8th wide receiver to take home the honors.
