NFL Likely To Suspend Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson For A Minimum Of One Year

Browns fans are surely exited to see a true franchise QB in a Cleveland uniform for the first time in two decades, but they’ll likely have to wait until next season to do so.

The team landed Deshaun Watson via trade this offseason, signing the former Houston Texan to a massive contract which included $230M guaranteed, despite the dark cloud hanging over him which has done nothing but grow larger since heading to Ohio.

The number of women who have filed suits alleging sexual misconduct has reached 26, leading the NFL to reportedly push for a minimum of a year-long suspension.

The Browns find themselves in a precarious position after burning bridges with former QB Baker Mayfield due to interest in landing Watson.
