Fan Injured In Patriots-Panthers Brawl During Joint Practice

For the second consecutive day, the Panthers and Patriots brawled during their joint practice and this time a fan was injured.

Video shows the teams scraping during a joint practice in Foxborough, where a couple of players ended up near the front row of the bleachers, and Patriots defensive end Deatrich Wise’s helmet landed on a woman’s foot, according to NBC Sports Boston.

The Patriots medical team checked on the fan, who was fine and was offered free tickets to a game this season.

The fight reportedly broke out when Wise clobbered Panthers star running back Christian McCaffrey, who then spiked the ball in Wise’s direction. Multiple Panthers players proceeded to go after Wise, who was driven into the stands where the women was sitting.

He was tackled by a Panthers defender and that led to punches being thrown by multiple players on New England’s offense and Carolina’s defense.

These two teams will meet in a preseason game on Friday at 7 p.m.
