BREAKING: Blake Bortles Retires From The NFL At Age 30

Blake Bortles, who led the Jacksonville Jaguars to a division title and the AFC Championship Game in 2017 has retired.

The No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 Draft, announced his retirement while a guest on the “Pardon My Take” podcast:

“I quietly… I didn’t tell anybody, I retired,” he said Wednesday, when asked if he was in good shape to sign with an NFL team. “I guess you guys are kind of the first to hear it publicly.”

He played for Jacksonville from 2014 to 2017. He recorded 17,646 passing yards and 103 touchdown passes.
