Georgia’s Title Game Berth Being Literally Perfectly Synced With New Year’s Ball Drop Is Incredible

Saturday was arguably the greatest seven-hour stretch of postseason football in the illustrious history of college football, thanks to the high-powered shootouts that were TCU-Michigan and Georgia-Ohio State.

If you tried syncing the latter of which to conclude exactly when the ball dropped, it would be impossible – and yet that’s exactly what we were gifted with on New Year’s Eve.

The Buckeyes drove down the field late and got their team in a position for a 50-yard field goal, which was promptly shanked into another year, quite literally.

The ball hitting the turf giving Georgia a second straight National Title Game berth happened exactly when the clock struck midnight.
