Aidan Hutchinson has had an amazing rookie season and on Sunday made NFL history when he recorded the 3rd interception, tied for the most by any defensive lineman in a season in the Super Bowl era.
His latest one against the Chicago Bears was amazing.
With Justin Fields and the Bears looking to make something happen on the final play before happen, this video shows Hutchinson lined up as a receiver and dropping into coverage, but he was near the out of bounds line and jumped in front of a Bears receiver to get the interception:
Entering the game, Hutchinson had 7 sacks and 2 interceptions, bringing him up to 7.5 sacks and 3 interceptions with the Lions. He is also the only NFL player this season with 5+ sacks and 3 interceptions.
The Detroit Lions did their part on Sunday by beating the Bears, 41-10, to improve to 8-8. They also gothelp from Cleveland as the Browns beat the Commanders, 24-10. To clinch a playoff spot, the Lions need a win over the Packers and a loss by the Seahawks when they host the Rams.
