Damar Hamlin, by some medical theory, died on the field at Paycor Stadium in front of millions watching Monday when his heart stopped on the field during cardiac arrest following a tackle of Bengals WR Tee Higgins.
We learned that Hamin came within minutes of not making it, but it turned out to be even worse than expected, as Hamlin’s uncle noted during a CNN interview that the 24-year-old’s heart had stopped for a second time at the hospital, having to be necessitated upon arrival at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
