Kliff Kingsbury is taking some time off after being fired on Black Monday, and after the tumultuous year that was 2023 for the Arizona Cardinals, you can’t quite blame him.
Kingsbury was canned after four years in the desert, the first three of which were headed in the right direction with 11 wins in 2022, but after an injury and suspension plagued season this year in culmination with numerous instances of public disagreement with QB Kyler Murray, the Cardinals front office decided it was time for a change.
Kingsbury has reportedly responded by buying a one-way ticket to Thailand. Numerous teams have inquired with Kingsbury about potential offensive coordinator positions, but got that answer that he isn’t interested in returning at the moment.
Guess one could say Kingsbury said Phuket, and dipped.
