BREAKING: 49ers And Nick Bosa Have Agreed On A Historic Five-Year, $170 Million Contract Extension

Nick Bosa’s holdout is over.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the San Francisco 49ers and the reigning Defensive Player of the Year have agreed on a historic five-year contract extension worth $170 million.

The deal ends Nick Bosa’s holdout while making him the highest paid defensive player in NFL history by a pretty wide margin. Schefter adds that Bosa will likely be ready to play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 25-year-old had an amazing 2022 season where he racked up 51 tackles (19 TFL), a league-leading 18.5 sacks, 48 QB hits and two forced fumbles.
