On 9/11 most companies post an image of heroes or the old New York skyline in remembrance of the faitful day where the twin towers were struck and destroyed by terrorists on 9/11 2021.
The popular sports betting app Draft Kings decided to take it a step further by creating a ‘Never Forget’ parlay which included having three New York team all winning today.
Needless to say, the move got heavy blowback on social media and Draft Kings has removed the bet.
“We sincerely apologize for the featured parlay that was shared briefly in commemoration of 9/11, Draft Kings said in a statement. “We respect the significance of this day for our country and especially for the families of those who were directly affected.”
