It’s hard to imagine that Colin Kaepernick will ever get a chance to play in the NFL again but if he’s interested in continuing his football career, another league may be interested.
The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL) have placed Kaepernick on their “negotiation list”, which means that if any other CFL were to show interest in Kaepernick, the Lions would have the rights to negotiate with him first.
To date, Kaepernick has shown zero interest in the CFL but after sending a letter to the New York Jets following Aaron Rodgers season-ending injury, it’s pretty clear that Kaepernick wants to continue playing football.
The 35-year-old has been a free agent since 2016.
