Things got heated after the Cardinals-49ers game in Santa Clara, California.
Arizona Cardinals RB James Conner and San Francisco 49ers safety Talanoa Hufanga got into a physical altercation following the 49ers’ 35-16 win over the Cardinals.
FOX Sports caught the entire encounter:
The two got into a disagreement over something which led to Conner grabbing Hufanga’s chin and shoving it back before other players came in to separate the two.
It was a rough day for Conner, who rushed for just 52 yards on the ground – by far his worst performance of the season. He caught just one of two targets for four yards and was very much contained by a 49ers defense that ranked No. 3 in the league for rushing yards allowed per game with 53.
Meanwhile, Hufanga had five tackles on the day to help the 49ers improve to 4-0.
