ESPN Announces “Record-Setting” Ratings For Packers-Raiders Monday Night Football Game

You know the NFL is king when Jordan Love and Jimmy Garoppolo are pulling “record-setting” television ratings.

On Tuesday, ESPN announced that Monday Night’s Green Bay Packers vs Las Vegas Raiders matchup had a historic amount of people running.

“The audience peaked at 18.8 million (9-9:15 p.m.), and for two hours Monday Night Football averaged 18.1 million viewers (9-11 p.m.). Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli (ESPN2) registered 1,036,000 viewers, their 22nd episode in a row with more than a million viewers. Monday Night Football was the most watched telecast of the night overall and across all key demos.”

The Raiders defeated the Packers, 17-13, improving their record to 2-3 on the season. Jimmy G completed 22 of 31 passes for 208 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Josh Jacobs rushed for nearly 70 yards and one touchdown on 20 rush attempt.
