Commanders WR Terry McLaurin After Not Having Catch In Dolphins Loss: “I Ran A lot Of Cardio”

After being held without a catch in Sunday’s 45-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin summed up his afternoon pretty candidly.

“I ran a lot of cardio today,” McLaurin told reporters after the game. McLaurin went on to add, “It happens. It comes with it when it’s tough, but yeah, it’s frustrating.”

Sunday’s zero catch performance was the first time this year that McLaurin finished the game without recording a catch and just the second time in his five-year career. He was targeted a season-low three times. A lot of it was because he was lining up against Dolphins superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Washington’s fourth straight loss dropped the team to 4-9. The Commanders will have their bye in Week 14 to figure things out before returning to action on Dec. 17 against the Los Angeles Rams.
