A Huge Fight Broke Out After Dirty Hit On Justin Fields During Steelers Training Camp Practice

A wild fight broke out during the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp practice on Wednesday.

It all started after Steelers linebacker Elandon Roberts laid out quarterback Justin Fields with a late hit. Offensive lineman Mason McCormick didn’t like and shoved Roberts from behind, which led to the brawl.

Here are clips from the fight:

One of the hidden rules of being an offensive lineman is that you always have to protect the quarterback. No matter what.

Fields has been taking first-team reps at camp since it started last week due to Russell Wilson’s calf injury. Wilson has been working his way back after suffering the injury last week and the team is being extra cautious.

Wilson has started to do more and more work throughout each practice but Fields is still getting the all the first-team reps.

If this continues, there’s at least a chance that Fields could be the starting quarterback for the Steelers’ first regular season game on September 8 against the Atlanta Falcons but the Steelers are not ready to go that far, yet.
