The Ohio State Buckeyes took on the Northwestern Wildcats at Wrigley Field on Saturday and while Wrigley is an iconic baseball stadium, it’s not exactly built for a college football game.
Just before the half, the Ohio State Buckeyes took a 21-7 lead as Will Howard found Carnell Tate in the end zone for a touchdown.
Tate made a great catch in the corner of the end zone on a deep throw from Howard, however fans watching from home were unable to see it.
The camera angle used by the Big Ten Network – and by extension, a FOX broadcast – blocked a view of the end zone in real time, showing fans standing and raising their arms as the touchdown was scored.
The Buckeyes were able to cruise to a 31-7 victory.
