Tyrann “The Honey Badger” Mathieu Announces Retirement From The NFL

The Honey Badger is hanging them up.

Tyrann Mathieu, one of the most dynamic defenders the game of of college and professional football has ever seen, is retiring from the NFL after 12 season.

The 33-year-old was drafted out of LSU by the Arizona Cardinals, bit spent time in Houston, Kansas City and most recently New Orleans.

Over more than 170 NFL games, Mathieu recorded 660 tackles (146 assists), 35 interceptions, 74 pass deflections, and logged 10 sacks.
