President Donald Trump Caught Lying About Appointing Saquon Barkley To His Sports & Fitness Council

President Donald Trump is on a mission to bring a lot of things back from the dead, and that includes that dang fitness test we all did as kids.

The President announced last week that he had formed the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition which under his directive would encourage America’s youth to practice healthy habits in diet and exercise via the re-introduction of the Presidential Fitness Test.

To announce the executive order, Trump gathered multiple athletes from different sports including golfer Bryson DeChambeau, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor, and former WWE wrestler Triple H, among others not in attendance including Roger Goodell, Tua Tagovailoa, Jack Nicklaus and Wayne Gretzky.

One of those others Trump boasted about the star Eagles RB being part of the council.

Only problem? Saquon Barkley declined the invite prior to the speech and barely even knew anything about the directive other than being asked to join.

“A couple months ago, it was brought to my team about the council. So I’m not really too familiar with it,” Barkley said after practice when asked by a member of the media about the matter.

“I felt like I am going to be super busy, so me and my family thought it would probably be of best interest to not accept that. I was definitely a little shocked when my name was mentioned. I’m assuming it’s something great, so I appreciate it but was a little shocked when my name was mentioned.”

Trump was previously caught lying about Saquon Barkley during the Eagles Super Bowl visit when he claimed he directed the Giants to keep Barkley.

The New York Giants rejected Trump’s claims entirely.
