Chiefs’ Nick Bolton Punches Ball Out Of Trevor Lawrence Hands Right Before Crossing The Goal Line

What a play by Nick Bolton.

During the second quarter of Monday night’s Chiefs-Jaguars game, the Jags lined up to go for it on 4th and Goal from the one yard line. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence took the snap and immediately tried to leap over the line and reach the ball across the goal line.

But Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton said, “not today,” and knocked the ball out of his hands right when the ball was about to cross the goal line.

The play resulted in a 14-point swing in favor for the Chiefs, as Patrick Mahomes led the offense down the field for a five-play, 97-yard touchdown drive.

The Chiefs lead the Jags, 14-0.
