
Coming off his second stint in the NFL, Philip Rivers will reportedly interview for the Buffalo Bills head coaching job, Adam Schefter reports.
The 44-year-old signed with the Colts in December following Daniel Jones’ season-ending Achilles injury. Rivers played in three games, all loses, as teh team missed the playoffs despite starting the season 7-1.
The Bills fired Sean McDermott last week following a heartbreaking playoff loss to the Denver Broncos, 33-30, in the AFC Divisional Round.
They are casting a wide net for their search which includes former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, former Giants head coach Brian Daboll, among others.
All interviewees this weekend will meet with a group that includes owner Terry Pegula, president of football operations and general manager Brandon Beane and quarteback Josh Allen.
