A documentary about the infamous disaster that was Fyre Festival debuted on Netflix and Hulu and the lasting image of the film was that of a man who was the personification of desperation.
Long story short, the festival needed water to cater towards to thousands of excited party-goers boarding flights to the Caribbean island where the event was being held. Low on time and money, the water was being held by the distributor until the payment was made. Desperate, one of the lead men for the festival was told to suck a man’s dick in order to make sure the water was handed over. Though he ended up not having to, the story resinated and turned into a meme.
