REPORT: Chiefs Are ‘Actively Seeking’ Another Trade For Another ‘Top Wide Receiver’

Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs sent shockwaves across the NFL when they traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for a bunch of draft picks. Shortly after the trade was finalized, the Chiefs signed ex-Packers receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a three-year deal.

Prior to that, the Chiefs signed ex-Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to a one-year contract. But they still aren’t done reshaping their wide receiving room.

ESPN’s Dianna Russini reports the reigning AFC West champions are “actively making phone calls” to see if they can add another top wide receiver to their depth chart.

It’s yet to be reported which ‘top wide receiver’ the Chiefs are trying to trade for but they do have the draft picks to make another big splash. The Chiefs are slated to have 12 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft including two first, two second and two third round picks.
