The New York Giants made headlines on Thursday when they traded former first round pick WR Kadarius Toney to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a third and sixth-round pick.

The moves creates a gaping hole for the 6-1 Giants who are in contention for the playoffs and the team might have Toney’s replacement in mind. According to FOX Sports’ NFC East reporter Ralph Vacchiano, the Giants have “particular interest” in trading for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy:

There is a clear connection between Jeudy and the Giants as the team’s head coach, Brian Daboll, was the offensive coordinator at Alabama during Jeudy’s rookie season:

Jeudy was the 15th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, who are in the midst of a frustrating season as the team’s offense has faltered and they find themselves 2-5 and in last place in the AFC West.

Jeudy has appeared in all seven games for the Broncos, hauling 24 receptions for 386 yards and two touchdowns.
