No Belichick in the ATL…
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Atlanta Falcons are hiring now former Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris as their next head coach.
The hire is a homecoming for Morris, who joined the Falcons early on in 2015 as the as assistant head coach and defensive back coach, eventually moving to wide receivers coach, later moving to secondary coach, defensive coordinator and in 2020, promoted to interim head coach after Dan Quinn was fired after a 0-5 start.
Morris beats out heavy favorite Bill Belichick in the interview process.
