Fans Are Furious With Al Michaels For Bringing Up Damar Hamlin After Tua’s Concussion

It was a rough night for the Miami Dolphins and yo can probably say the same for Al Michaels.

During Thursday Night Football between the Dolphins and Buffalo Bills in Miami, things went bad to worse for the Fins when they saw their star quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, go down with yet another concussion.

The play took place during the third quarter, with Miami in the red zone, trailing by three touchdowns. Tua attempted to run for a first down on a crucial 4th & 4 play, and while he got the necessary yardage, it came at a brutal cost, as his head collided with the chest of Bills safety Damar Hamlin, knocking him to the ground and out of the game.

It took less than 10 minutes for the Dolphins to rule Tua out for the remainder of the game. That’s when Al Michaels did the out of pocket line on national television:

“A little irony there, he got hit by Damar Hamlin. You know that history.”
