A rough sequence for Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen.
After making a great play to face a Rams punt, Woolen proceeded to commit a very idiotic unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. The penalty not only gave the Rams a fresh set of downs but on the very next play, Woolen was beat by Puka Nacua for a touchdown.
The touchdown cut the Seahawks lead from 31-20 to 31-27 as we enter the 4th quarter. Had Woolen not committed the penalty, the Rams would likely have punted with the Seahawks leading by two scores.
